This Isn't SPAM, But You Probably Didn't Ask For It
If you didn't want this email, my bad.

You probably didn't sign up to my personal blog, but you may be getting this post emailed to you because someone (or something) did. That's annoying for everyone involved, so let me first apologize for giving you SPAM. Over the past month or so, I noticed a bunch of "free member signups" on my personal blog. I don't advertise it. I don't make money off of this blog. This is just a place for me to ramble about whatever I want, and yet, I have 17 members who have signed up. Odd! Clearly it's some sort of SPAM sign-ups.

First, if you receive this email, I apologize yet again. You can easily unsubscribe without problem and you'll stop receiving my messages, but what I want to know is if we are both somehow a victim of this subscription nonsense, feel free to shoot me an email and let me know. Send it to support@fifthdread.com and tell me how annoyed you are at getting emailed by me. Or, if by some random reason you actually wanted to get these emails (like, did you actually subscribe? Doubt it) you can also let me know via email.

I don't want to have to implement a captcha, but I guess that's the direction I have to go. In the meantime, I'll send this out to the unfortunate email addresses (even if they're not even real people) before I remove them as subscribers to my blog. I just wanted to put it out there that it happened, and I'm not sure how or why. Thanks for your understanding, and if you get emailed about my future tech ramblings, you're up to speed on what's going on.
